Anyone take a Disney Cruise? I am interested in some feed back and is it worth the $ for a family of 4 with Kindergarten aged children.

Absolutely! We introduced our daughters to cruising at ages 5 and 7 on the Disney cruise and they loved it!

The service personnel are very in tune to service little people. The menus and deco are to benefit the young guests.

The kids will truly enjoy the Oceaneer's Club and you can enjoy yourself knowing the kids are in good hands.

The rooms are very nice and Disney is the king of logistics.

Be prepared for Mickey Mouse overload. Now that my kids are tween and teen, we use Carnival but Disney is the best line for the younger kiddos.

My daughters were in kindergarten and preschool when we went. Fabulous age and I believe worth the extra. You will feel like your children are the most wonderful, the cutest, etc. even though they are among 100's of little kids. They are treated so specially! You will never regret it. Their little faces are priceless when Cinderella takes their hand or they are noticed on formal night in their beautiful gown. The shows are so good the kids will love them and so will the adults. I do think the extra money was worth it for a once in a life time vacation. The interior stateroom was plenty big for us.

I definitely recommend Disney! My parents took me on a disney cruise and i absolutely loved it! Disney is however a little more expensive but if you can get over the price its defintely worth it. Castaway cay ( Disney's private island) is like heaven on earth!

To get even more input from people who have "been there", go to CruiseCritic.com and click on "Boards" at the top of the page. There's a wealth of information on every aspect of cruising.
