He really says some strange stuff sometimes and looks down on others. If you do not have loads of letters after your name or a Million £ in your bank your not quite as good as him. Why is this ( my Mum is great by the way and seperated from mr victorian) My brother and his horrible girlfriend have fallen out with me and my dad has taken his side and its really wrong and unfair? what is wrong with some people?

for some, looking down upon others, and putting them down, is a way to get around their own problems.
your father has low self-esteem, otherwise he wouldn't worry about the shortcomings of others. he has become a put-down artist, to make himself feel better.
this is typical behavior of someone with low self-worth. just because he has money and loads of letters after his name, doesn't mean he has confidence.

sounds like he could use some help. Maybe he is upset because of the separation with your mum. Men are strange and really don't like letting others know their feelings. See if you can try to talk to him seriously and tell him what you are feeling. Ask him what is bothering him.

and i think Dads are as well. My dad is really strange, but hes got there as hes got older. he really slags people off and lays into them and thinks he is perfect when infact he's worse than everybody else. he was slaggin me off for my money problems, when in fact hes £6k in debt himself and hes doing nothing to pay them off, whilst i was £3k in debt and im now £500 lol dont know what thats got to do with anythin tho but im trying to proove a point lol
Dads are funny - how old is your dad?? it could be an age thing, my dad has definatly got worse since he was turned 50! i dont mean to be rude and i dont know how old your dad is but im just saying! :)
