I think I once saw him in the clouds but how do you know if it is an angel or him?

The notion that you "saw him in the clouds" rather supports the notion that God is a projection of our hopes and fears.

You can't "see" God in a cloud. He is spirit. He doesn't "look" like anything. You probably imagined it or projected what you wanted to see in your mind.
