Its all the same if you ask me. Colossians 2:9 says that the fullness of God dwells in him. FAther, son , holy Spirit OR Jesus Christ....
Incidentally I believe this is why the Apostles baptized in Jesus name.

Never heared the term oval baptism before. But if you are refering to baptismal formulas (the words spoken during baptism), then consider this:
Nowhere in either of these (or any other) passages does it say that these are the words to be spoken over someone during baptism. Matthew 28:19 says to baptise them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. It never says to say these words over them. Likewise, Acts 2:38 says to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, but never says to say these words over someone. In fact, no where in the Bible is there a reference to any sort of "baptismal formula". The idea that these words were spoken during baptism is a mere assumption. We don't know that any words were spoken during a baptism at all!
Consider this: The Bible says in Colossians 3:17 "And whatever you do in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him." (NET Bible). We are to live every part of our lives for Jesus, do everything in His name, eating, sleeping, working, playing, living. Does that mean that everything we do, we have to say "I hereby do this in Jesus' name!" No. That would be rediculous. How do we do something in Jesus' name? We do it for Him, for His glory, and as this verse says "Giving thanks to God the Father through Him."
Why would baptism be any different? Is it the words spoken that matter? Or is it the Name inscribed on your heart and mind? In Jesus' name and in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are not contradictory, but complimentary. They are one, and He is God. He lives in our hearts, if we believe Him and surrender to Him. If we live for Him in all ways, and do all things for Him, then we do well.
