more violent than that of Mohammed, Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, and Bin Laden? Doesn't the entire world suffer when a head of state swallows a religious cult by subverting it or making it law? Isn't the Deism of the American Revolution a subversion of Christianity as first performed by Constantine?

They could, they do, and the answer is that it is better than those you wished to contrast them with. Funny that you mention making religion and laws, look at the Muslim countries where women can't drive and need to follow the "Islam dress code" even if they are not citizen or believers. Would these countries even consider recognizing gay marriage?

Nobody can compare to the sheer numbers the communists slew in a relatively short time frame. Take an unbiased look through a history book if possible. Christians can answer this is not what Christ taught. He said My Kingdom is not of this world if it were then would my servants fight. Washington was not a deist. And Martin Luther was never really a leader of any country like Constantine and Washington were. Luther had no real power. And I don't think Constantine or Washington killed tens of millions of people.
