What's the best way to get from 620 Eight Avenue NY City, NY to Tom's River, NJ would it be better to travel by train? if so, please provide with details, or should I consider a transporation services please advise. Thanks

take the njtransit bus at port authority at 42nd street and 8th avenue. the bus you will take to go to toms river is either the 319 bus at terminal 319 (on the 3rd floor) to Atlantic city; the first stop is toms river (that comes every 1 1/2 hours) or you can take the 137 bus, which you can take at terminal 319 and that comes every 1/2 hour.
