I have a severe sugar craving and i'm now taking chromium to help me with that.....anyway, i bought two organic cereals with all organic ingredients only thing is that i saw sugar on the label... is this still considered healthy?

Sugar can be organic. if it's a small amount of sugar, I think you'll be ok ;) People have to have their cereal sweetened.

YOUR BODY NEEDS SUGAR. People need to get off this idea that sugar is bad. You need some sugar. It's just the type of sugar that matters. Complex carbohydrates (fruits, whole grains) are considered sugar still, and are absolutely essential to your diet. That's most likely the kinds of sugars found in your cereal. There will probably also be a little bit of honey or cane sugar added for sweetness but that's ok. Sugar just gets bad when you're drinking sodas and juices all day long while pounding down cookies, cakes and white breads. That's too much sugar.

Well, sugar is addictive. If you are trying to quit I totally understand. I've tried the Atkin's diet, where there is a period that I couldn't eat sweets for a while. Never in my life I felt such strong cravings. I guess you'll have to lower the sweets intake instead of cutting them out.

generally a healthy food item will have 5 ingredients or less.
