What do you do with your real photos?
I do not want to put them into a book.
Is there a good method of storing them?
Please point me to a product.
Such as a specific box, etc...

If you use a box, do you put the pictures in groups in some kind of envelope?

Is there a good site dedicated to real photos's products?
thanks

Organizing printed photos is tough for most of us.

What I've done is to organize them by year. I prefer photo albums in which you place them into presized pockets, although I also do use. Make sure to use acid free pages, or they can destroy your photos.

If it's a special occasion, you can get pre-made scrapbooks from Hallmark. They are pre done with all the fancy extras that people do when they custom make them, you just simply insert your photos into slots in each page. It's not quite as good as the real deal, but it looks very nice.

There are special photo boxes you can get and I have used them. Stores that specialize in various types of containers generally carry them as well as craft stores like Michaels.

If you use boxes, you don't need to put them in any other envelope.

Walmart has some photo storage boxes, also Walgreens.

I found a lot of old 35 mm and even 110mm slides and Walgreen's can convert them to a CD. That's working great for me. I think you can scan regular photos into digital pretty cheap. check with Walgreens, I found they are a step ahead of Walmart. Fred Meyer also did a good job with the slides, even included thumbnail pic index right on the CD.

EDIT just remembered, I used a 4x6 index card box and that worked good, I didn't put them in envelopes.

I have a billion boxes that I have gone through albums etc...
My favorite way to store pix is organizing in envelopes and a basic shoe box! CHEAP practically free!!!
I start out by organizing by date, then subject(s)...I.E. Christmas photos are organized by date...then I find the good family ones and have a seperation for that!
the best way to have it is by date tho so you know when the pix were taken, if its not marked ont he back!
I have a different box for all the rejects that you want to throw away cuz they're blurry or too dark, rather than throw them out I keep them in their own box...like a gift box...one that is unorganized because its always fun to go through them again when you are looking for something to be creative for scrap booking or something!

The only pix that go in an album are the REALLY good ones!
they get a frame!!!
IDK am I picky I guess...
whatever!

that's just me tho!

I'm poor so I just use show boxes. They actually fit pretty well.
