This kinda thing may happen to everyone and I don't think birthdays are more important than the other days . If my wife cares and if I forget her birthday i will kiss her and apologize

This is so not a big deal for us. We don't put emphasis on it ourselves, along with anniversaries and the like. I have actually forgotten my OWN bday until my wife reminded me a few days prior. Does that mean I'm getting old?
We just forgot our anniversary earlier this month and my wife reminded me that we both forgot it that evening. We usually have one of "those" aunts who always sends us cards to remind us of inane stuff like that.
