Science doesn't try to prove or disprove anything. It works with facts to come to a logical conclusion. So far that conclusion is "god" is a fake and until evidence arises to change that conclusion it will remain.

Most scientists are religious, actually. Science has so many paradoxes that many feel there must be a religious explanation.
Simple physics rules like "matter cannot be created or destroyed, only transformed" suggest that it is impossible for cause-effect (science is based on cause-effect) to explain the universe's spontaneous existence.
There's also the fact that a cause-effect model would be unlimited (we'd be in an endless loop of causes for each event in the unlimited timeline of existence). Yet, Science also shows that the Universe had an origin in which there was neither space (nor matter) nor time. This state, State Zero, is defined as having no cause (origin). This is as far as science can take us.
There is a 100% chance that there is something external to the physical existence of our Universe (I'm not saying it's God, but the prospect is sure worth investigating). So, I would say that you're right, Science and Religion have missed a huge opportunity to work together.
The problem is that people are just corrupt. Many hardcore religious people don't follow their own teachings. At the same time, many atheists are categorically opposed to religious people in general. It's sad.

Anyone with an open mind that uses science actually finds God. I know a few very smart people who have done so. They were athiests who set out to disprove God, but still had an open enough mind that when they found the proof, they were willing to accept it and became believers.
The other logic point is that you can't disprove the existence of something. Think about how many new species are still being discovered here on earth. I would think that if you don't find something, there is still a chance in this enormous universe, that you just haven't looked hard enough yet. There's still a chance that it could be there.
The thing is, God is only found by those who seek Him with all their heart. He calls, and we respond.

Question 1
Because so many say that some theories disprove God, not so but ????.
Question 2
There is more incentive but????.
Real Scientists are not trying to prove anything, they are simply studying the creation, a good scientist does not seek fame, doing ether in the realm of Science would put there discoveries, the methods used and everything about there work in question !

You seem to be assuming that it is the scientist themselves that are trying to disprove God. Most are not concerned one way or the other. They are simply after the facts.
It is people who really have no understanding of the science itself that often take the information and interprete it in such a way that it can be used to agrue against the existence of God.
They fail to realize that science deals in facts, and religion deals in truths. It is rare that a discovery in one area will have an affect on the other.

People use scientific findings to dispute biblical ideas such as adam and eve, noah's flood, and the lack of dinosaurs mentioned. Therefore if these findings contradict the bible then there must be no God. Its not trying to disprove God, it's simply a conclusion made by many.

Science has never disproved any thing in the Bible unless science can not test it.
In 1880 the French Institute of Science came out with a list of 80 things that were scientific errors in the Bible. But by 1880 all of these science errors where proven to be errors of science and not the Bible.

Why would they lie about Pilt Down man and Lucy and Nebraska Man if they were not hoping to disprove the Bible?
Why would Darwin say or permit the chart of man evolving from a monkey if they were not trying to disprove God and His Word?

This may not directly answer your question...
I think the exclusivism of Science in excluding other fields of knowledge implies that a scientist making a conclusion that there is NO GOD, means he makes a wrong move in jumping to a conclusion beyond his jurisdiction.
A biologist, a chemist or physcist do experiments and make valid conclusion on their field of study.
It is good to leave the question to the theologians whether there is GOD or NOT for theologians are dealing with BOOK of FAITH.

science for centuries has disproven the christian god.
natural law and physics, rules established by God, certainly disprove any possibility for a man to physically walk on water. christianity is thence disproven.
however, the Cosmic Conciever, the Source from which existence extends, is proven by all things observable, measurable, and concievable, whether that source has a consciousness and intervenes in the chain reactions It has set in motion or not.
before you can have a discussion on whether "God" exists or not, you have to define your terms.
i, like many rational people, do not observe the christian god as the legitimate source of all things for obvious logical reasons.

Because many people think by discrediting religion it will some how change people's minds. The real truth is faith requires just that... faith not proof. it doesn't matter if they can disprove everything because by saying you have faith... you don't need any proof to continue believing. People that try to prove if the shroud of turin is real or not... it doesn't matter! Jesus still died and came back to life... the shroud he was buried in has absolutely no effect on that outcome!
