No way you can use the good old "free will" argument here.

No, I don't live in a trailer park or anywhere that has tornadoes. I care about my fellow human beings. Having just dealt with a question about why god allows child abuse, torture, etc., and read all the same old "free will" replies, I just thought I'd like to see an explanation of why god allows natural disasters to kill innocent people. I knew I wouldn't get a logical answer because none is possible. When will you believers open your eyes? Your religion forces you to look like fools because it gives you no explanation for things like this.

Nope. Free will has nothing to do with natural disasters or the old "nature, red in tooth and claw" idea.
That falls under "theodicy," and people have been struggling with the question of how an omnipotent and all-loving God can allow evil to exist.
Some fundamentalists like to explain it away with the facile idea of "when Adam sinned, he brought sin into the world." Baloney.
The truth is, there hasn't been a real answer to that question in 200 centuries and we're not likely to come up with one here on R & S in 2007.

I do not believe God has the time or inclination to show humans lessons by creating a tornado one day. That is just ridiculous. So the people in the midwest and tornado alley are being made examples of? It is because of the location and the atmosphere. Why don't we see tornadoes in England and Scotland? What about New England? Well, in New England there are too many mountains/gullies to allow a complete formation. Not that down drafts haven't happened or that a twister hit the treetops but it is unlikely that New England would have a tornado touch ground. The midwest is flat. Nothing to stop the tornado from touching down. So when conditions are right and a vortex forms and hits land it's got nowhere else to go but keep going until it burns itself out. Why some people attribute this to an act of a vengeful God I really have no idea. Sorry, went on a while but if people read more about weather patterns then they wouldn't have these ideas.

UR assuming there is a god. Ur also assuming that if there is a god he cares for us. If there is a god and we r his creations he is a very unfair one that is a FACT. How come children r born with aids in africa with no medication to help them? R they created by god? They r human beings 2, Right? If he cares for us all the same y does he birth them into suffering and birth others into the good ol USA to go watch movies and live a long and happy life? Does he love some ppl more? If more love is associated with more happiness being allotted i guess god loves some more or he just doesn't care.

Man, what a question, no star but an answer.
All I want to say is that God promised us salvation, paradise,
peace in his Kingdom. Things that are described but our minds can hardly imagine how grand heaven will truly be.
The earth is not heaven, there are no promises our time on earth is supposed to be perfect for us.
We earn our right to enter heaven.
As many trailer parks that have been destroyed among houses also, its hard to explain those who have survived as well.
Earth is where our trial and tribulations are.
You want a perfect place to live with no tragedies, then pave your path. You were given a map.

It is not God's "fault" that bad things happen. All over the world, children are starving, wars are killing people, horrible diseases are destroying perfectly decent kind people, it just happens. What we do is try to make our lives better. We serve God by serving the good of our human race. Nature (meaning tornados, disease, etc) have no consciousness, no sense of justice, decency, kindness, or fair play. But we do. So we serve God by working for justice, decency, kindness, and fair play, and mercy.

Sin became into created by using adult males. it fairly is how the early church won their ability. You sin you bypass to hell, so says the chief of the church. so as that they used the assumption of sin to create the entire devil stigma. stable and evil, suitable and incorrect, all that could exist thoroughly self sustaining of the entire sin b.s. God, Goddess what ever call you elect for to grant to creation gave us each and all of the flexibility and freewill we want. We in simple terms ought to apply it properly. much less stressful pronounced than finished many of the time.

Of course the free-will argument does not apply. We only have free will to chose between different sins.
