I would feel no differently about someone who stuttered than I would about anyone else. They are capable of being proficient at their job, in fact most people who stutter are highly intelligent and more apt to devote all their energies to the task at hand. They are no less capable because of their stuttering. Having to deal with stuttering only makes them more conscientious.

No less capable - just might take a bit longer to tell you whats wrong! Mind you - that's a talented individual - you dont get many doctor-solicitors these days - they'd be great at medical law suits.

I would use my own judgment on what you think about the capabilities. If you have a problem understanding this person and the information you get is not understandable, then I will say there is a problem, however if they make sure you are understanding with written information, then I will say no problem. Because one stutters doesn't mean they do not have knowledge.

A solicitor dealt with a case for me he had a very bad stutter, one thing he asked me never to do was finish his sentences as it put him off. He was an excellent solicitor but we lost our case anyway.

No, in the same way I wouldn't think a doctor is less capable because he smokes. For as long as they are able to get the message across, fine by me. But if they were a broadcaster, it would be a different story
