Well I've had it 4 times in the past 5 years (3times onmy Right hand& once on my Nose). Once ihad to have Surgery because my Skin & Flesh was like rotting in that area! Back then Doctors told me it was a spider bite...they weren't sure. I'm not an Athlete,Prisnor(Obviously),oranything like that...I don't know how I got. 1st it's like a boil or Blister. Then it'll eventually pop & That area won't heal & Will hurt EXTREMELY BAD!! It even Burns when air blows on it!! Skin will keep peeling in that area! I never experinced the Fever & all that! Puss comes out of it Continuosly! Don't touch any one if you have it or Commonly shared things(Doorknobs,Keyboards & Such)
Hope I Helped!!:)

the news has been talking most recently about MRSA, aka methlocillin resistant staph aureus. This organism is not new, it's been around for decades, but it would seem that people are less and less careful about their hygiene, so the organism is spreading. If you are careful to wash your hands every hour and keep them away from your face unless freshly washed, you have little worry about.

It is a drug-resistant strain of a preexisting disease. Usually it is brought on by the over-use of antibiotics by society as a whole. It works the way our immunizations do. The more exposed you become to a disease (or in this case, the more the disease is exposed to the antibiotics) the greater resistance you have to it.
