For awhile now, maybe about 6 months or so, I will dream about racoons attacking me. The attacks are weird because the racoon will come after me faster than anything I've ever seen and it'll attack me and sometimes I can sense the pain coming from it. One time in a dream I was with my friend and the racoon was closer to her yet chased after me while I attempted to run. I had a dream again last night about a racoon, and while the racoon was chasing after me I heard my mom yelling (she was no where in sigbht in the dream), "You gotta watch out for those racoons Ashley because once they get you they won't let go." These dreams really disturb me and I end up waking up out of breath and crying because they're so overwhelming. I dont believe I'm phhobic of racoons, but now that the dreams have started I somewhat am. I usually dream these racoon-attacking dreams maybe once every couple of weeks and in ALL of them they are chasing after me and they're fast, and they usually bite my neck. Ideas

The recurring dream is not really about raccoons. It's about some conflict going on in your life. The fact that you keep running away from the danger of the raccoons speaks to some internal fear you may be going through in your real life issues. When you solve whatever issues that may be going on in your life I suspect the recurring dreams will go away. Or again, the dreams may disappear as fast as they started and for no reasons that you can see. I hope this may help. It's just because I had something similar happen to me years ago.

I have a routine dream. I could have it four to five occasions each and every week for over two decades. I now simplest have it three or four occasions a 12 months. Always the identical dream. A village of folks, approximately 60 of them, all ladies and kids, and all mutilated horribly when you consider that a North Vietnamese soldier discovered an American sweet bar wrapper at the floor. I are not able to keep any of them, they're all useless. Then a gigantic explosion and there are piles of useless laying throughout me. That's whilst I get up and uncover that it's not only a dream, however a reminiscence.

That you see the coon as a vicious, dangerous attacking creature is shocking to me.the raccoon is the clown of the forest and as a spirit guide represents pushy curiosity and cleanliness.my own personal experience is they are gentle, but pushy and a bit demanding sorta like hyperactive children.
twice Ive had them come to my door and when Ive opened the door they just walk on in,once my dog was raising hell and trying to get to it (I was holding her off) and it just walked on in ignoring the dog and went to the dogs bowl to help itself.
they want what they want are unafraid and don't respect boundaries.
with this all said , I believe your dream is telling you that there is a person and or situation that does not repect your boundaries, is moving too fast or asking too much or at least more than you are willing to give.this causes the fear that if you give in "they will never let go"
++my advice++
reevaluate whats happening in your life who and what is making you uncomfortable .talk with someone you trust about your fears.maybe its time to speak up about how you feel about people entering your space real or emotional.or pushing you in a direction you dont want to go.
to deal with the dream, take a baggie and put something sweet in it like chocolate pieces or sweetend cereal even dog food.(racoons like these) take it with you to bed put it under your pillow or hold it if you think it wont open up.before you sleep say to yourself "Im not afraid of the coons "I have my protection. when they come to me ill draw a line with the contents of my bag and say Come no further! as they stop to eat the food,I will say Im not afraid of you" tell me what you want! continue this everynight till you have relief.
this doesnt fix itself overnight you have to work on the inside and out side to get to reason this dream message is being sent to you.
peace><>

It may be a metaphorical manifestation of something happening to you in real life. Maybe the raccoon is replacing something else in your life that you are running from, or that is attacking you. Have you been experiencing any emotional trauma lately?

Basically, a dream is reflection of something deeply ingrained in one's mind. A recurring dream is a reflection of the recurring thoughts of the incidents, real or imaginary, that one tends to see in one's dream! Diversion of mind from that to something more pleasant might help!

To see a raccoon in your dream, signifies deceit, thievery, and of false friends secretly conspiring against you.
A raccoon attacking you could mean that you have been robbed or hurt by a backstabbing friend. Or maybe you just have a fear of being attacked by a raccoo:)
Sorry I couldn't help you anymore...

You must confront your fears and go to the zoo to see the racoons.
You will then realise that they are very peaceful and kind animals (im serious i watched this on national geographic, they dont harm people)

I think that this dream symbolizes that someone in your life is trying to get you down or that you have a person of your life that you feel is trying to destroy what you stand for. I hope this helps.
