Getting products and selling on eBay. There's good money in it.

Stuffing envelopes and assembling products are pure SCAMS. Do not touch them.

And if you do make money, you will have to report to disability so your check can be adjusted downwards.
Been there, done that - still doing that.

The answer to your question is NO.

About those places that ask for money - yes some are scams, but some are for home based businesses.

And if you do want to start your own home based business, you do have to invest some money and pay your own taxes.

Selling Usborne books, Tupperware or Avon are legitimate home based businesses. You do have to pay for a starter pack, but as long as you are selling, you will make it back eventually.

Those people who do work from home and get paid legitimately, have usually worked at the office for several years and have EARNED the right to work from home.

I have 3 kids so the hours just weren't working for me..but go to alpine access the website is: www.alpineaccess.com
you will have to fill out an application and then do a phone interview to make sure that your computer is up to date and that it can handle the browsing. what is this?? its a customer service job. you would get incoming phone calls for gap credit card or lowes or whatever job you apply for and get. and the people don't even know you are at home...it would be great for you:) you should really try it..anyone should...if they are looking for a part time or full time job to do from home..they aer based out of colorodo, but have times that you could do.

check it out! Good Luck!

Jennifer,

I work from home and absolutely love it. There are a lot of home business opportunities out there. It is simply a matter of knowing how to look for the right opportunity to avoid being scammed.

If you are interested, I have an article that can help you in looking for the right opportunity. It is not specific to my business at all. It simply teaches you what to look for, what to avoid and questions to ask in determining if the opportunity is right for you and if the company is legit.

It is too long to send through answers messaging but if you will email me at bonnieram1962@yahoo.com, I will be glad to email you a copy. Just let me know that you would like the article on home businesses.

I wish you all the best and look forward to helping you in your search.

You really can't make a good income at what you are describing that you can do. Most profiting work from home jobs require an education. Some are Medical Transcription, Medical Billing and Coding, etc.
Can you babysit ?

I work from home part-time. I like it. I get to help the uninsured and under insured by offering them dental and medical discounts. Even my 7 year old son helps me out.
