It's very sweet that you want to SAVE her from the a**hole boyfriend but you need to start thinking of yourself too. Don't forget about your feelings. You should take a break from her a bit and focus on you, just be her friend....maybe she'll come around. She might just be afraid of change.

I have a friend with the exact same problem. Some girls don't even know what is best for themselves. It is a good thing that you are a good friend to her but the attraction is obvious. I think you should move on - that way she will learn her lesson the hard way. It may seem hard to do but you can not be looking vulnerable every time she comes to you.
The boyfriend certainly have some thing she like and she seem to be okay getting bad treatment from her boyfriend to hold on to it. Honey, move on there are alot of girls out there who might be better than her, willing to give you a chance. Still offer your advice to her but don't push for relationship - that way she will know what she missed out on.

not all girls go for these types of guys, but i'll admit many do, the reason they do that is because they probably have a low self esteem and they probably are trying to be "cool" so why not be cool and go out with the guy everyone goes out with. i think it's stupid that girls do that, and when the guy breaks up with them they're all sad, but it's not like they didn't know he was a bad guy. girl's are just stupid and don't always want the easy things in life.

Sorry about the situation, but you did the right thing by ending it. She only come to you or you her when something is wrong, and that's call rebound, let her get her fill of him, and they break up on their own. Then if she comes to you it's because she wants too, it hurts, but you did the right thing, things will turn out right.

nah forget about her let me tell you from personal experience they know how to pull your heart strings and make you feel sorry for them and when you do you want to give them the world to make them happy. Funny thing is I was in pretty much the same thing until I got a gf and the other girl decided she wanted nothing to do with me

You need to respect that she just wants to be freinds with you, she has said this specifically to you. Sounds like she could use some good friends though if her boyfriend is as bad for her as you say so try to be there for her, she may need you.

if you really love her, fight for her.
if you really care about her, don't give up on her, beoung with the other guy might do her worse.
but if she really continues, and take advantage of you, then move on

If you like her, you like her, there is no giving up. Nothing is forever.....be patient, dont overcrowd her or smother her and just continue to be there. If its meant to be, it will happen.

You can follow this futile pursuit, for as long as you want..

Eventually, (and it may be a loooong time) She will tire of him and move on...

When she does, if your still interested, you should be in line...

Can you wait? Dunno, if it was me, I'd move on...
