Because she is seeking the nomination of her party. And our former President and her spouse, William Jefferson Clinton, is beloved by the Demcratic base. So, any attack on her by any of her opponents in this process of seeking the nomination will be seen as an attack on her spouse. If she suceeds in gaining the nomination of her party for President, then the nature of the questions and the rigor of criticism against her will rise in tempo and strength.
The same sort of "hands off" approach was seen in 1968 when Robert Francis Kennedy was serving as the junior Senator from New York and was seeking the Democratic nomination for President. He was the brother of a martyred President and any attack on him by any of his Democratic opponents would have been viewed by the party's base as an attack on the memory of JFK.

As yet Hillary is not concerned, she knows that a low dull pain will be tolerated, and then adventually go away and not noticed that much anymore, except by the supersensitive, who she will claim to be the extreme right wing kooks. Example of this is the on-going annoying stories that keep poping up on Anna Nicole, Brittney, Paris, and the lilk. What exactly is the msm? mass stupid media?

I think it's very telling that the LA times, a big time lib newspaper is the one to break this story. Now it can't get buried by the MSM.

They do ask. she does answer. The askers don't believe her answers. Hillary Clinton is not dodging anyone's questions. She is however giving attention to serious questions over the more spurious ones that really don't deserve an answer.
