Fundies are fallable??? You mean they aren't perfect and can actually be wrong about something??? They can actually...dare I say...interpret scripture wrongly?
*dropped jaw and a look of disbelief on his face*
Tango, you really shouldn't alert the Fundies to this terrible news. The shock might be too much for them and you could cause someone to have an anxiety attack!

Pastor Billy says: I really like this question. Protestants will continually argue against Catholicism which supports the doctrines of apostolic succession and infallible instruction on faith and morals by the Bishop of Rome in communion with the other bishops of the Church and yet when it comes to interpreting the bible Protestantism teaches every individual has the gift of infallible understanding if they are "born again".
However, as soon as an argument on translation rears it's head between pastor and layperson what happens? Well if it's a bad one the community splits in Protestantism and people go on what is called "church hopping" or they just figure they can start a new church called "bible chapel on the ridge" oh good Lord.

there is no thank you to be sure one is analyzing the Bible wisely. it relatively is all unverifiable opinion. So definite, there is no absolute precise. some say the holy spirit classes their know-how of it, of direction diverse those with diverse interpretations the two say this, making it sparkling that it relatively is in simple terms their own opinion in contact. no longer some exterior company (as there may be a consistency that's lacking).

And I suppose you stand on the pillar of truth do ya? Your own anger twists the truth for you.
Did you ever stop to consider that you have been given over to a demonic spirit(s) and that because of that fact anything spoken in truth would come across as being a lie or misinterpretation because it (the word of God) puts you in judgment?? I didn't think so.

I have read the bible, several times. And I am not a christian.I cannot see much in there that is open to any kind of "interpretation".you either choose to follow it or dont.there are many that pick and choose the bits that suit their own lifestyles though. And I have yet to find a fundie that has read as much of it as me!!!Mind you I have read many books more than once but they usually leave you with a sense of achievement,or fulfillment, not apathy and bewilderment.

First of all, to me, the Bible is the truth. Literally. I do realise that others may chose not to believe what I believe, and while that grieves me, I can't change it. I know that as a human being, I am fallible, but I try to live my life the way I believe God wants me to. I don't always succeed, in fact I'm often a failure. But I'm glad that God has the grace to guide me and to show me the right way.
How do we know the truth? Since we are talking about matters of faith and faith cannot be proven with hard evidence, we don't know. We can believe, but we can't know until after our deaths.

I guess the only way to find out if the truth is being told is to open the Bible and read for yourself.

That's why one should know the bible. They will know if someone is teaching wrong if they knew the bible. I am not talking about knowing scripture. Satan knew scripture. I mean studying it too.

When will you stereotyping buzzards ever grow up?
Your venom shows your twisted view of others and your ignorance and hatred of those who don't subscribe to your point of view. You are a very small-minded person.
EDIT: I SEE THERE IS MORE THAN ONE SMALL MINDED PERSON IN HERE. THE DEVIL HAS YOU ALL UNDER HIS SPELL.
