Do people ever paint, like, paintings using model paint (you know, paint for models)?

Model paint? I suppose you mean body paint?
Yup I do but not often. It kinda is a summer thing. ;-)

Seriously I use model paint on models. It is way to smelly to use on large surfaces.

I wish I could remember the name of the young British Artist who does just this (in a photo-real style). My daughter did it 8 or 9 years ago when she did her Art Foundation Year, quite successfully.
