For the record I am a follower of GOD just wondering why Satan never pursued the Advertising Market

Satan doesn't have too. Many of the people are already doing what he wants...he is like a burger joint or fast food place...people just get attracted to these places. Healthy food places have to advertise a lot an prove their worth by doing research.
It is easy to lie, cheat, lust......

What a novel question! It really made me think.
Here are some possible answers. Like God there is no evidence that Satan exists as an entity separate from us (Leave poor George Bush or the Iranian President alone please). So may be there is no Satan to advertise his wares. Does God advertise? Only if you believe the poor fellow at the local church, mosque or the temple who is simply trying to make a living out of the collection plate because he can't think of a more productive way of doing it other than to tell us that we will go to hell if we don't come to his place of worship and do as he says (that is, give him some of our hard-earned cash).

If you were Satan, how would you advertise? You definitely won't say, "I want to save your soul". Instead if you wanted my soul you would offer something in return. An average fellow would want material worldly goods, wine, women, men (equal opportunity and gay rights must be respected), good job, lots of money to buy a large home and an SUV to pull my boat, education and intelligence to think independently. Now think about who advertises things like that in return for what. And there may be your answer.

On the other hand according to some religions this world is being run by Satan (the fallen angel) anyway so since we are ruled by him he does not need to advertise. Instead he uses the clergy to maintain his hold on us by getting them to tell us all the wrong stories. So the billboards and signs you see on the road actually could be from Satan and not from God.

The truth is that poor old tired God from the day Seven after Creation (He should have avoided that much needed rest...) has been getting the short end of the stick from us humans and losing the battle all the time. So perhaps your question should have been: Why doesn't God advertise like Satan??
Well the question is: what is He likely to offer? The trouble is God only seems to offer intangible items such as a pleasant after-life, vegan lions, a world without a World Bank or United Nations, a message of tooth for a tooth that some take to the extreme by believing that it actually means one tooth for ten teeth.

Satan does advertise like God, and he even does it more often. Satan can take over a person, influence that person build a porn bar or start a terrorist attack. Satan is everywhere and so is God, but the reason why some people can't see the advertised signs is because Satan's way of advertising is through people and the world. Worldly advertising is common throughout society and is hard to pick out.

Well my friend that is a great question...all I can say is that he doesn't advertise in the normal way that we conventionally think.If you follow the thought that all the sex industry is sin than Satan need not advertise himself just try to morally debatch us through lust and whatnot.Besides the concreat idea that he even exists is still up for debate.After all there is no book written by satan himself through others like God has so I guess if there is no conclusive evidence that he even exists than how can he advertise?Besides he is supposed to be sneaky remember? LOL

Those signs are all over the place...where are you from, pleasantVille? Go anywhere close to a large city and see the filth within. There was just an article about a billboard that talked about adultery. Not sure exactly what it said, but something to the effect of: Life is short, have an affair. (something like that). There are smut billboards all over, go to Vegas and look down. You will see leaflets of sin all over the place.

So believe me, Satan has his fair shake. He is just a looser by nature.

My Goodness isn't the life style that people are living.........giving middle school children birth control and thinking that it is fine for 12 year old to be having sex, The rap music, the heavy metal music, are a form of advertising? Look at the movies the kids are watching these days? No censorship at all everyone falls into bed with every one, the violence is terrible. Kids are exposed to killing, cussing, sex, mocking God each and everyday! The mocking of our God, our Lord and savior, right here on Yahoo! Answers, and many of these people are top contributors in R&S., the living together without marriage and there is no shame involved. I see questions like."My girlfriend & I and our three kids would like to go to Florida to Disney world but we would have to fly........." The moral's of this country are under Satans domane and people don't even know it. People think these behaviors are just fine. Oh! Believe me Satan is advertising through people who don't even have a clue that they are under Satan's control, and that they are advertising for Satan, just by how they live, talk, etc.

Have you looked at a Cosmopolitan magazine lately? Do you watch TV?? Satan advertises every where, and he makes it look soooooooooooo yummy, and that's it's okay. You're not doing anything wrong. Very enticing stuff indeed.
