Hypothetically, it isn't hypothetical.

Indeed, "pure religion" (firstly pure grace and truth) arrived undefiled and remained unspotted. Selah;
Not to mention we're flat out told by "his witness unto all men" what is "evident" from all the biblical "evidence": "that no man (adult) is justified by the law in the sight of God (Grace)": Galatians 3. Furthermore, if justified by law, then fallen from grace to law; And if fallen to law, then Christ (is the end of the law) is of "no effect" to you.
Hmmm. No effect?
Isn't this kinda like "no escape" in 1Thess 5:3?
Nothing 'hypo-thetical' about this passage:
"They" say ... then destruction comes upon "them".
(they say "Peace & Safety" in Law worketh Wrath)
Hmmm. I don't see any peace or safety in WRATH.
But I do see new F5 Harvestors: harvesting tares.
F5's cut a swath a mile wide, and 20 miles long.
So my motto is: "from such(law folk) turn away".
By THY words THOU art condemned(lawed).
The (law) tongue is a weapon of "destructon".
Law imputed sin imputes death on the IMPutor.
Prime Example: Jesus: King of the Jews: Law.
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Then we might as well just throw out everything about reality, because the theologies of some religions thoroughly contradict others.

If it was real and not pretend, and there was evidence, then I would believe it. Plain and simple. It could still be real, but until I see evidence, I'm not buying.

This revolves around the words "What if". unfortunately the only provable thing about religion is that it is totally unprovable. (By anyone)

Then it wouldn't be religion. It would be fact, not faith.
