I love Firefox but I need help with an extension. It's called download helper. It downloads vids from sites like youtube..ect.
I'm not a computer genius so don't laugh but do you need a special media player to play these? I have never done this so I am totally lost. When I attempt to play the vids, nothing ever happens.

umm.. most such videos are in flv format.

So either you should get the codecs for the format, or get a player that comes with those codecs.
I use k lite megacodec pack and the media player classic. For all videos.

Or you'll have to convert them into a format like avi or mpg.

I would prefer to do the former.
