Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Saved from that, hell.

Luke 9:6 And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where.

So if Jesus wanted them to preach it why should I not do the same?

If more people preached the Gospel like you then more people would get saved. the Lord said we were to preach it, he didn't say we had to make them listen. I'm with you on this as "I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ as it is the power of God unto salvation to all who will believe" Romans 1:16

I was born and raised Roman Catholic
but I have studied many religions
I did college papers on St Paul's effect on Religion
on the lost books mentioned in Bible books
on the modalities and ethics of the 'early church fathers'
I have read the Bible cover to cover and many parts many times
I used to lecture at College and University on death and dieing and meditation as per Bible

and I have come to full belief that:

I was born all right the first time
and the greatest "Sin" I need to be saved from is religion

and if worship is focus and attention by definition
I am safe as well as saved
for I believe the only devil in the universe
is the one that lurks in men and women's hearts
against their fellow men and woman
I do not worship any devil
no devil gets any of my focus or attention

when I observe any man or woman
all I accept
is that they are a SON or DAUGHTER of GOD
such is my own choice
and such is my salvation

I know it's part of your religion to try to convert others, and I commend you for trying to do the right thing. If I thought other people were going to be damned to Hell for eternity, I would also try to prevent that as well. However, your efforts will be futile unless you can find evidence of your God's existence. Simply saying he's real isn't going to make him real. Trying to persuade us through fear or reward is a cheap tactic - and it is used too often. Once you realize that your God has no more evidence or probability of existing as the other gods, you will have reached an important step. Have a good day.

Save yourself if you can...!!!

Matthew 7:13-14 (Jesus said) "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

And of the only FEW WHO FIND the narrow gate not all of them will be able to get in...

Luke 13:23-24 (NIV) Someone asked him, "Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?" He said to them, "Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to.

The acid test comes when Jesus finds out that you are neither hot nor cold and he will have you vomited out of his Holy Stomach... (Revelation 3:16)

So it is the proverbial carrot at the end of the stick. Most Christian in the laity don't read the Bible, and those who do do it to brag about it without paying attention to what they read. The Clergy and the preachers are fully aware of all this, of course! So good luck!

As an occultist I know that I am 'saved' and I am the furthers thing from Christianity and yet I am very happy as to what I am and will forever will be.Christianity has now come full circle and is ready withdraw while the new world spiritual religion come into being.Once a religion has served its purpose for one evolutionary journey it is then discarded to make room from the incoming vibration to work out its plan.

Saved from what dude you aren't entirely clear with your question? Aw sorry to burst your bubble but I stopped believing in Santa Clause by age 8 and stopped believing in god at age 12. Silly superstitions should be overcome but you might still be young and need to cling to that sort of stuff.

baptists scare me because they are so bible beating and that isn't the way that Jesus taught nor walked this earth; man has manipulated his message; he never had to beat anyone up or force anyone to his message; his message was loving, kind and easy to follow; he didn't beat up mankind into submission; he gave the gift of salvation not us; his message has survived; follow the true messenger and not man in the pulpit no matter who that might be; live the life

I answered the question; sorry you don't like my answer; see you don't follow Jesus message or you couldn't have said what you did ; hence my answer stands ; I answer to God not to you

Life is more complicated than that, talk to people outside your church/comfort group, travel the country, meet different segments of society. Life isn't so simple as saved or not.
