Just keep learning. Windows Vista IS THE FUTURE. Work on each problem and work out solutions. You will be ahead of everyone else.

I recommend that you REMOVE all unused programs. Run MSCONFIG to turn off most of the programs that start automatically.

Most integrated anti-virus programs make Windows Vista run very slowly. Here is the suite that I recommend:

- Firewall - Windows Firewall
- Anti-spyware - Windows Defender
- Anti-spam - Windows Mail
- Anti-virus - get the FREE AVG from http://www.download.com

You see, Windows Vista comes with firewall, anti-spyware and spam protection. Use a FREE version of AVG. The users and editors at Download.com say it's great. But use your BRAIN to avoid threats.

Eventually, you will begin to like Windows Vista. SOMEDAY, you will see why others say "WOW"

Good luck and Happy Computing!

I think vista sucks. I've noticed some quirky little things that are different between my xp laptop and the vista laptop.

xp works just fine and dandy for everything I do.
I don't need vista in my life.

vista is useless...ive found so many games that are uncompatible with it. I also prefer XP. Dont understand why they "downgraded" to vista

Me too! It uses too much RAM just for unused gadgets and tools. For now, I still love Windows XP.
