Religions which believe in the existence of GOD are only meant for:
1) GREEDY people who wants to request GOD to give them the things they desire and ask for.
2) PATHETIC people who are so scared to go to the so-called HELL in their afterlife and want to enter the so-called paradize of GOD
3) WEAK-WILLED peoplewho constantly needs reassurance and "divine" support to motivate them
4) CONFUSED people who are contemplating their afterlife path
5) GULLIBLE people who believe 100% by word of mouth what other people/religious texts are saying without questioning/doubts

Whether you like it or not, this is my opinion of people who believe somuch in their religions. I think inner strength is the most powerful. You don't need to rely on GOD to show you theway. YOU can find your OWN way out!!! Why should we pray to GOD when we can be LIVING GODS?

I disagree. From personal experience, I know there is a God. You're entitled to your opinion. I don't believe that people have to go to church to find God. I'm spiritual and not affiliated with any religion. We are all Sons of God.

Lucifer had the same argument you are using: Why should we pray to God when we could become living gods? He decided he didn't believe in God either and that he could find his own way out.

There is also 6) RATIONAL people who saw them selves in a situation that showed them the possibility of a Higher Power and went to God to seek answers about said situation.
I`m not denying 1 to 5 exists though, I'm just saying I'm of number 6. I disagree mainly in the LIVING GODS part. Was the Iraq war Caused by God, or because of Oil. Son Of Sam, Zodiac, Bundy, Jack The Ripper, where there dessicions divinely wise?

1) I don't ask for personal favors through prayer.
2) I don't believe in hell.
3) I motivate myself, thanks.
4) Neither I nor my religion have a strong stance on what the afterlife is or even if it exists.
5) Even the most orthodox members of my religion analyze texts and learn by questioning them. Doubts are nothing to be ashamed of and some even encourage them.

In my opinion it is pointless to spend your life searching for answers that you will never find. Faith is just a replacement for practical thought. If people thought as much about things they could find answers to as they do about stupid religion and afterlife unanswerable questions, the world would be incredibly advanced and prosperous. All religions have so much blood on their hands that they make Charles Manson look like a saint.

1. There are many poor Christians out there that give much more then they take.

2. I didn't trust Jesus as my Lord and Savior because I was scared. Hell is real though.

3. You have to be humble before God to become a Christian but I am far from being weak-willed.

4. Confused? Only at these false claims you would make about Christians.

5. I have done a good amount of research on various religions, probably much more then you. Who is the gullible one?

You have shown ignorance towards people of faith. I recommend you go out and actually meet some people face to face and get to know them instead of making such posts.

A living GOD would not be so insecure as to have to denigrate others' beliefs as to elevate him or herself.

Religions are meant for people who find them meaningful. If you don't, that's fine. But it doesn't mean that either you (or a religious person) is better in some way than someone who believes differently.

I agree until you said we could be living gods. I am not so arrogant to believe that humans are the most advanced intelligent life form in the universe.

yes, this accounts for a LARGE majority of believers..

i think it also come from a subconscious need for a parental figure even after we're adults.

A sense of protection in a chaotic world

And definitely the fact that the concept is constantly being introduced from birth, just as language is induced...

I disagree with your views because I don't fit anywhere in there. I believe in God because I believe it's the most reasonable explanation for the universe around me.

I also believe you'd profit from meeting and talking to a few people who believe in God. You might find that five categories are entirely too few to fit several billion people.
