stay with xp until th service packs for vista come out, xp is much more stable at the moment and uses less computer specs
even though have to admit vista's interface is much more better than xp.

Dude XP rockx...
dont bother with Vista
Windows XP will be the superior operating system until October 31st, 2008, when Vista will be discontinued and Windows 'Horizon' will be released.
Just remember a couple of products, Windows Me and Microsoft Bob. I bet you don't remember them and they were only 7 years ago.
Here's a better question ...
"What does Vista do that XP doesn't do, and do I care about that functionality?"

I would have to say XP also, Vista has not been around long enough to shake out all the bugs, etc. Also vista has loads of 'services' in the background collecting and sending usage information about YOUR use.

From all the comments so far, I think we all agreed on XP is the better of the two.
Vista is superior, if you have a really powerful computer with a very high end graphics card, and you dont mind putting up with dialog boxes every other minutes asking if its ok to run this, or open that.

XP becuase it has been out longer. and just like anything else, it only gets better with time. i will probably say Vista within 3 or 4 years when we are forced to move over to it, but until then, i will only use XP.

Vista only if your PC is like 1 year old and your graphics card can run Aero. If it can't run Aero, don't bother.
And you got alot of money :)
