Some people are just silly.

I believe that reality TV will suck the spiritual life out of the world and leave us with a society that does not send criminals away but will simply vote them off the continent.

So, you stole that thing Mr. Dork? Well, we're going to vote you off. Pack up your stuff and leave. You will not be America's next top citizen.

I also believe that aliens will pick up on our broadcasts and decide to destroy us because they will fear our reality TV signals by mistaking them for real life on the planet.

Agree or Disagree?

I agree. Reality TV is one of the worst things ever created. It shows the worst aspects of people and makes it seem acceptable. The problem with these shows is that once you watch them, you're addicted. I find myself watching "I Love New York 2." It's absolute trash, but I can't stop watching it. I think the addictiveness makes these shows even worse.

One of the biggest lies in America is that double oxymoron, "reality TV." First TV is NOT reality. Even the best news shows are selecting what to show. And it's not always on what is most important, but what will give them a good visual image, or will suit their sound bite format. Or, to be blunt, will suit their sponsors.

But so-called "reality TV" is the 21st century equivalent of what we used to call "game shows." True, there are also game shows, but this idea that the participants get involved for weeks or even months has the self-selecting process of pulling out only those who (a) can afford to take that kind of time away from whatever job or schooling they are otherwise doing, (b) think of themselves as photogenic enough, skilled enough for whatever the "challenge" is, and (c) sufficiently exhibitionist to want their image and their manner, not to mention their names, to be splashed all over the country.

The audience all knows that this is no more "reality" than playing charades or hide-and-seek. It is simply more dramatic. But they continue to watch because "there's nothing any better on." For some reason I cannot fathom, it does not seem to occur to them to turn OFF the darn babble box.

I wasn't stunned she picked Kristy as a results of fact I observed a spoiler on twist of destiny, i became into so mad!!! i like Bo! i became into unhappy he did no longer win, yet oh properly. I enjoyed Kristy and that i think of she became into courageous and surely had the splendid to declare what she did to Tila. She even informed her the nighttime before that she became into uncertain and stuff and whilst she informed that to Tila it became into like a huge marvel to her. and then Tila says, "so why did you're taking the main important a week" i think of Kristy became into good for asserting "I had to get to appreciate you!" as a results of fact the eliminations have been each and every nighttime and not anybody gets on my own time. yet then there is the time the place Kristy mentioned i'm falling in love with you- so i do no longer understand. I recommend gazing the coach it looked like Tila became right into a good guy or woman yet certainly now i think of she's pretend and Lisa became into actually good. And through the seems of next weeks reunion element Tila gets worse.

i hate reality t.v. i know people who love it, but there is nothing real about.

i think that you're right, and it does suck the spirituality out of everyone who watches it.

it won't just be criminals who get voted out, but all "undesirables".

any intelligent life out in the universe will either ignore us as being too undeveloped, or they will want to destroy us as being a danger to them.

we can only hope that this is just a fad, and people will out grow it.

The US has for a long time behaved as if they were in a reality show. It is in many mays a sad looking country, and I feel for all those people living in it, that just has to accept the regime of non caring for their own.

The US is an example of how not to govern a country.
