I'm in UK, and not so accustomed to Irish car prices, but it doesn't seem like that much of a bargain to me. A Daewoo is not a great car, and they're often bought by people because they're cheap new, which can mean they won't have been serviced correctly. Also, it'll be harder to get spares for than a Ford, Vauxhall, Renault etc....
You'd get a fairly decent Focus or something similar for that money, that's what I'd go for.

Stay away from Daewoo. Unreliable, cheaply made cars! Enough said.

JUST FROM PAST EXPERIENCE WITH WORKING ON THESE VEHICLE MY ANSWER WILL BE NO.

MOST PEOPLE THAT OWN THESE VEHICLES WISH THAT THEY NEVER BOUGHT THEM.

THEY HAVE TOO MANY PROBLEMS AND THE PARTS ARE EITHER HARD TO GET OR VERY EXPENSIVE TO BUY.

It you want something cheap, yes.
If you want something reliable, no.
