There are many good choices. One would be taking him to restaurant he likes/ he have mentioned for you. If he likes books, buy him the one he haven't read yet, but have told you about.. Take a walk in a park or place you have had good time.
Do anything with him what he have told he likes. That makes him feel you care about him when he finds how carefully you are listen to him.

Take him out to dinner for his favorite meal. Then race home for that really hot, romantic interlude. He'll love it and you won't have to buy him flowers afterward.
