Although God is love and has mercy, God is also just and righteous.
Thou [God] art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity… (Habakkuk 1:13)
[concerning God] …and by no means clearing the guilty… (Numbers 14:18)

Well, didn’t God create sin, since He created everything?
Absolutely not! God is not the author of sin.
Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: but every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. (James 1:13-15)

You guys say that God doesn't send anyone to hell, that we send ourselves. How convenient for you. Totally lets your god off the hook, doesn't it? No one, faced with the choice of eternal bliss or eternal agony would opt for the latter unless they were seriously brain damaged.

Why do loving good parents allow their children to live their lives outside of the home (good or bad)? Are you saying that parents that don't bail out their drug addicted children from debt and or jail are bad parents?
God is more merciful than I am. EVERY time you ask, God is there. You must ask and you must mean it but if you fail....you can ask again. God is there. How much more forgiving and merciful do you need Him to be? Do you want him to simply forgive without being asked? Sorry but that's not the way He does it. So why would it be problematic to get on your knees and beg....especially if you are seeking forgiveness?

Excellent question on your part, and reasoning.
Hell is a concept not found in the Bible but has it's origin in mythology (Greek if I'm not mistaken)
Here's another reasoning point for your future reference....
Some people here condemn God, calling him a murderer etc., for destroying the nations around the Israelites. What they fail to realize is that those nations he destroyed practiced vile things, which included child sacrifice in the name of their gods. This is an archaeological fact. One of the reasons the nation of Israel lost his favor and protection is because they practiced the same things ... making children pass through the fire. So ask yourself... why would God condemn and then destroy nations for doing what he himself does?

There are 162 references to HELL in the New Testament alone, over 70 of those spoken by Jesus Himself.
" He that believes (the gospel) and is baptized SHALL BE SAVED; he that believes not SHALL BE DAMNED ". - Jesus
"So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, and shall cast them into the furnace of fire; there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth". - Jesus (Matt. 13:49)
Jesus called it a literal place of REAL torment.

God is forgiving of the weaknesses and failings of a guy that's attempting to stay as God directs. in spite of the indisputable fact that, while a guy would not attempt to stay a existence that's fascinating to God, that may no longer weak spot and failings, that's insurrection! God's be conscious, the Bible, tells all what God desires. in case you opt for an entire life of sin, then you definately've chosen to be seperated from God! which would be your fault, no longer God's! 2 Peter 3:9 says, "The Lord isn't slack touching directly to his promise, as some adult males count variety slackness; yet is longsuffering to us-ward, no longer keen that any could perish, yet that each and every it is straightforward to come to repentance." God has offered a manner for adult males to be saved, yet many will reject it! God has achieved His area! on the top, our judgement relies upon upon our reaction to God's plan. the alternative is yours. "For we ought to all seem till now the judgment seat of Christ; that each and every it is straightforward to acquire the failings achieved in his physique, in accordance to that he hath achieved, whether it relatively is solid or undesirable." (2 Corinthians 5:10)

God created this world for one and onlyt reason; to worship Him and only Him. To not enjoin in sinful acts and to be a nice person, to help keep the environment clean and free of hatred and filth. If we cannot listen to our creator, then do we deserve a beautiful place such as Heaven?

Good reasoning; in fact, that pagan doctrine has made more ateists than it has scared people "straight."
Hell is actually the grave. However, because all men die from Adam's sin, so through Christ's righteousness, EVERYONE will live again. The wicked must then meet their fate--eternal destruction meanwhile the saints get their eternal reward.

There are consequences to our actions. I don't believe that He created a "hell" that is fire & brimstone. It is a place that the person has a hell within themselves where THEY know that they didn't do what's right.
When we know that we screwed up that can be the harshest punishment we can ever get.

Hell was created for satan and his demons. But, if man refuses to turn from his wicked ways and goes to hell, so be it! I don't blame God. Most don't even believe He exist. And last, He made us. He could do with us whatever He chooses.

No, he would not.
But words are cheap. Its easy to say I am loving while I chop your head off. But I think you will find actions speak so much louder than words.
From which the only conclusion you can possibly draw is that god is hateful, vengeful and jealous (he even claims the latter crimes as virtues for himself in the bible).
