Is 2011 AD the most probable year for the return of Jesus Christ and the end of the world, ie., Judgement Day?
The worldwide flood that destroyed all life on earth except for Noah, his family, and the animals in the ark occurred in 4990 B.C. In 2 Peter 3 God refers back to this flood and then transitions to the destruction of the universe by fire. In verse 8 God says, "But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day." This is interesting because God told Noah to get into the ark 7 days before He brought the worldwide flood (Genesis 7:4).

Multiplying 7 X 1000 = 7000 years (1 day=1000 years). Then 7000 years + 4990 BC = 2011 AD (year "0" must count for 1 year). Is this the year Christ will return as the "Lion of the tribe of Judah" to rapture the saints, destroy the universe bringing judgment on the ungodly, and create a new Heaven and Earth?

Before you answer, remember God told Abraham and Lot before He destroyed Sodom + Gomorrah.

**PLEASE NOTE: I AM NOT STATING A DAY NOR HOUR; JUST The YEAR.

This is another one of those "end of the world" predictions. The Jehovah's witnesses did that 3 times already and still the world is here. The Adventists maybe 6 times and many small Christian sects and cults have done the same.

Why the year and date important to you? You might even die tomorrow! Why argue and debate on dates. The best thing you can do is to live a moral and humane life as much as possible. And whether the DAY will be in 2011 or 20000011 or whatever, what is important is your deeds and not dates...

It doesn't matter what you "state", it is IMPOSSIBLE for man to predict! The strange thing about end time prophecy is that once the Rapture occurs, everything that happens from that time forward is on a predictable time scale based on the lunar calendar of Jesus' day (12 months of 30 days each= 360 days), therefore the 3.5 year period the Antichrist begins his reign in will begin approximately 1,260 days (42 months x 30 days each) after the Rapture...This is why the Scripture says, "Be ye therefore also ready. For in such an hour as YE THINK NOT, the Son of Man cometh." We have to be prepared LONG BEFORE we THINK it's going to happen! That way those of us who DIE in the natural course of events leading to that fateful day (rapture) will not be left out when the "....dead in Christ (saints who were spiritually ready) RISE FIRST."

Seriously, im wondering the same thing. Except , im wanting to know when, like i hear people saying World War III is coming near, and that means end of time. Im scared to death and dont know what to do. How can anyone predict the year or when its gonna happen? Only God knows that, and i agree with one person who said that why would God wanna destroy something thats good? He came one time and he is always with us. What he needs to do, is get rid of all these stupid, and ignorent people on earth who dont appreciate life. He comes like a Thief in the night, so really thats telling ya that NOBODY knows when he is coming. So, stop predicting crap, Your not GOD.

It could, but that is an option to take. However, it is more probably that He (the Lord) will come as he said, just like a thief. No one would know but by looking at the signs whoever who said is a believer will receive these signs, then they would know that He is really coming.

We should learn from the past that teaches us the present. When He ended Sodom and Gomorrha, when he sent the Great Flood, when He returned and showed Himself to his apostles... there were no specifics, He simply manifested signs to those who believed Him. Likewise, He will do the same when He will come.

Even if I believed in this silliness, which I do not, I'll quote your own scripture at you:
Mark 13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

So, yeah. No. All of this numerology based on the Bible is bunk to begin with, but it's also bunk according to the Bible.

Why would God destroy the earth? The Bible says otherwise.
(Isaiah 45:18) For this is what Jehovah has said, the Creator of the heavens, He the [true] God, the Former of the earth and the Maker of it, He the One who firmly established it, who did not create it simply for nothing, who formed it even to be inhabited: “I am Jehovah, and there is no one else.

"Heavens and Earth" are governments and people who oppose God.
They are the ones that will be removed. Not the earth literally.
Psalm 37; 9,11,29,34

Jesus, being perfect, has done a perfect job with just ONE visit to the earth. His next return will be as a leader, but resident in heaven.
And he has been in "Kingdom Power" since 1914.
That is when he ' returned'

Oh sure. Just like how everybody said it was going to happen in 2000. And 1998, with "calculations" like yours to back it up. And in 1991. And in 1975. And in 1666. And in 1000. And...

The great day of JAHWEH is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of JAHWEH: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers. And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against JAHWEH: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung. (Zephaniah 1:14-18)

The Bible teaches that at the end of the world all the wicked will come under eternal punishment in a place called Hell, and this time may be very near. There is much Biblical evidence that points to the fall of 2011 as the end of the world.

And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be TIME NO LONGER:

But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets. Revelation 10:5-7

why do i get a feeling that this question has been asked before and i have answered it? anyways, i'll just tell you one thing. Mark the coming back of PROPHET ISA(P.B.U.H), i did'nt use the word resurrection beacause he(p.b.u.h) was never crucufied, ALLAH had raised him(p.b.u.h) on time. He(p.b.u.h) is very much alive and with ALLAH. The day he(p.b.u.h) comes, exactly 40 years later will be THE DOOMS DAY.
