Years ago my right earlobe split from wearing too heavy earrings. It's unnoticeable but I've had my hair cut short and would like to wear earrings again (don't like clip ons). Can I have it sewn back together and where would I get this done?
Cost?
Many thanks x

Am in the UK - is this something I can get done on the NHS?

yep, this is possible - can be done by your doctor or a general or cosmetic surgeon (not sure of the cost - live in the uk with free healthcare!) but shouldn't be too much, only a tiny op

I've done this once for a friend and it turned out well. The healed edges need to be sliced open and sewed together like any other cut. It takes several weeks to heal, and your ear will need to be re-pierced when you're done.

If you don't have a doctor friend whose comfortable with doing this for you, a plastic surgeon is your best bet. Cost will be $$$$.
