interesting one,of course it could never happen, their history wouldn't allow it,as a single army it could never support its self, too many cultures too agree to a single aim,no economy to sustain the army would bring about a total collapse in no time,BUT,if it did happen then the western world would have a problem,no oil from there,no diamonds,no nothing, not to mention that having formed as a single army, like other countries,it wouldn't be satisfied with what it had and that's when the real problems would start,i would envisage an advance that would be difficult to stop, its a lot of troops

Africa is far too devided to be able to unite. Every even if they can check all the regional rivalries of the various ethnic groups the Muslim north and the Christian south would never get along. Further more, I don't think that Africa has the logistical capacity to support the volume of troops you described. It would be an unbearable strain on an economy that is already in trouble. Remember, every soldier on active duty means someone who is unable to work on other jobs but still requires resources, do you think Africa can support 1.4 million people who are unable to work due to military duties?

Basic Math says:

1.4 million + 2.1 million reserves = 3.5 million.

However looking at the unstable and volatile history of the

African continent its highly unlikely such a situation could evolve

in a millennium if ever.
