Age old debate.
Some say yes and some no.
Personally I feel that Allah is the name for God in Arabic.
But that the Muslim view of God is quite different than the Christians view.
The Muslim view of God is much more like that of a Jew.
God gives the law - man strives to keep it, and can't quite match up.
The Christian view is of a God who knows we cannot keep the law in our own strength.
His answer: To provide the divine strength and salvation we need himself.
The Muslim hopes to do enough good deeds to earn heaven(or die in jihad as an instant ticket, one Muslim told me)
The Christian trusts in Christ's already finished work to make him worthy, and serves his God with thankfulness because of it.
The Muslim fears. The Christian trusts.
It may be the same God?
But their concept of him is worlds apart.
That's the way I see it.
Blessings

Not on your Life. The God of Abraham was used by Men to write down the Words in the Bible for Man's benefit. After the last of the Apostles had died..700 years later another Book appears on the Horizon and Mohommad tells his disciples that this is what the Angel Gabriel told him to put down. Same Angel, two different Versions as to who Jesus is etc etc? .. NOT A CHANCE.

I have read Gabriel appeared to both prophets of Judeo-Christian and Islam. So maybe the individual or group concepts of God may differ, but it appears in scripture the same Holy Angels are obediently at work. I hope this helps answer the question. Also , however a person sees God in their Soul is probably how that person will behave to emulate their God in their life each according to their understanding ,trust or faith in their God or God concept.

Both religions started with Abraham.
Judaism , then Christianity branched from Isaac.
Islam from Ishmael.
It was men's imaginations that changed the form of worship.
Although Ishmael was the firstborn, his mother Hagar was a serving girl and not regarded as a first wife. Whereas Sarah, the mother of Isaac, at ninety years of age, a miracle of God, was regarded as the official first wife, which makes Isaac the proper heir.
Both religions were dealing with the same God. And that same God has rules of worship. Only one religion is following them. The one who gives Jesus credit as God's son.

No. Christians believe in the Trinity and it is forbidden in the Koran to even discuss the Trinity. The Koran was written about 600 years into Christianity with parts taken from Jews that rejected Christianity and distorted Christian stories Mohammed made up his own stuff like Joesph Smith and the Mormons.

Muslims do not have the same belief about God. Muslims belief God is not like the creations - place, time and shape do not apply to Him because He Existed before them without them and after creating them He does not change.

Christendom and Muslim, both worship the God of this system of things, the Apostle Paul refers to this God at 2 Cor. 4 v 4. They may call him different names, Allah, God, Lord, but it is not the True God of the Bible, Jehovah.

There is the god of the Old Testament, the God of the Koran, and the god of the New Testament. They are different from each other.
Why are they different from each other? Men wrote the bible. Men created their gods in their own image. Benevolent men created benevolent gods. Warlike and hateful men created warlike and hateful gods.
Those who do not believe in gods accept the universe as it is and try to learn all about it. They also believe in world peace and try to stop religious wars.
