I'm Russian passport holder with an American green card. Do I need visa for Venezuela if I'm coming/leaving same day on a cruiseship? It's with Royal Caribbean cruises.
Thank you.

Either ask Royal Carribean Cruises or the Venezualan Embassy. How would anyone here know? I found the embassy on google in 3 seconds. The US site seems to be down but the UK embassy website is

no, in Venezuela we don´t ask for entering visa, only if you would stay over 90 days or so, if you still have any doubts, I´d recommend you to call Venezuela´s embassy/consulate over thereor even your national office of turism, in the cruise line, they should know about it, but don´t be so sure, I was told onceon a travel agency on Europe that I couldn´t travel to UK because I hadn´t a visa and they don´t ask for it, so ask directly and as many you could, good luck :)

who wants to visit Venezuela? Just remember when you are there you are fair game. You as a tourist have no rights and visiting from a cruise ship leaves you with less rights. Watch your back because they know who you are--visitor from a cruise ship--As a passenger on a cruise you are permitted to visit and return to the ship. Stay on board and enjoy the daytime activities on the ship. You will wish you did if you visit Caracas. Good luck.
