There are a few, although i have found with specialists you need to find the correct discipline even though everybody says they can help:

Cranial Osteopathy?
Sacrocranial?
Chiropractor?
Dentist with TMJ skills?

Any ideas??

Your problem seems to stem from a patulous Eustachian tube (a tube that does not close properly) so air keeps coming through the tube which may be causing some discomfort. Regarding the lumpy things under the jaw/ or neck- these are normal. An EENT should do an endoscospy telescope thing down your nose to observe the status of the throat.

YOU HAVE TOOTH PAIN, JAW TIGHTNESS, TROUBLE OPENING YOUR MOUTH, A LUMP IN YOUR THROAT OR UNDER YOUR JAW, TROUBLE HEARING, OR SWALLOWING, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE..... a second visit is to a qualified dentist and make sure you don't have an infection in your glands. to determine the severity of your TMJ disorder.

The Dentist with TMJ specialty should be able to help you. If not, go to a maxilofacial surgeon for a realignment surgery and who will work with an orthodontist to relieve your TMJ disorder after surgery.

My daughter had this problem. It was discovered by a dentist via x-rays. She was diagnosed with a class 3 angulation . Surgery was performed followed by orthodontic care to correct the underbite. and TMJ.
