I guarantee you'll lose the wager, just as Pascal did.

BTW, we don't try to prove Xians wrong. They do that themselves every time they post or open their mouths.

I dont think anyone should try so hard to convert anyone. If you believe you believe and if you dont, then oh well. No use in wasting your breathe when most people arent even open enough to hear your side of the story.
Its taken me years to find a good of non believers (atheists and wiccans mostly) that i can open converse with and have wonderful conversations about religion, life, and many other topics without having to feel that we are going to push our beliefs on each other or make each other feel stupid.
after seeing alot of the questions and answers seen on there, it makes me appreciate them even more

Wasted... not hardly... trying to help the poor, working hard, having a good family etc. I will take my "wasted" life in God's love and following Jesus any day.
Wasted is what people on alcohol, drugs, illicit sex etc are... they end up with bad health, no family life, and shallow unhappy lives and then have to stand before God and answer for it. As for in the end you can see it now look at the average Christian going home happy to a nice house and family and the "wasted" ones heading for a bar that are only happy with a bottle in their hand or some junk in their veins.

Axel, you're a very smart and funny fellow. Although i dont agree with what you said but I cant help laughing after reading what you wrote... "flying sphagetti monster' now this. You surely achieve your purpose in getting ppl to respond to you and you definitely get a kick out of seeing ppl getting agitated when their faith is put to challenge. You sure have talent but somewhat put it to waste here since after a while you'll find something more challenging to feed your addiction. Do you know how a little drug does no harm but you'll just keep going back for more. Trust me get over it before it conquer you. I pray that God will one day touch you and put your talent to good use.
God Bless

And are you really sure that you can back up that guarantee? Well, yes we will see in the end. But have you tried to even consider that we are right? Well I know that I have not wasted any precious moments. Because prayer is not senseless. And how do you know you have enjoyed your life more then I have enjoyed my life? I have had a very enjoyable life with God.. But the difference is, I will be also enjoying my life with God later. I hope you will see the truth. But have a nice night.

I don't care if I convert them: I have three reasons for arguing with theists over religion.
1) It fun! Arguing is one of my favorite past times. I will argue with anything capable of semi-intelligent thought as long as I can understand what it is saying to me.
2) I enjoy planting doubt in peoples hearts. Call me evil, but something about a persons face when doubt slithers into their heart makes me grin. Its not evening the "I told you so" factor, I just like the look on their face when they begin to think there is a chance I am right.
3) They always, ALWAYS, start it in the real world! This is the only place I start arguments about religion. Almost every where I go with my "I am an atheist!" jacket on (yes it actually says that) some prick will always walk up to me and start something. Then when I throw it all back in their face they call me "an agent of the devil!" or a "demon in human disguise" (yes I have been called both of those multiple times).

If the christians stop pushing their sky daddy as the reason to stuff down their imagination to others' throat, the change laws into their favour, revamp the education structure, discrimination against other races and sexual oridentation and all the other stuff, I am quite sure atheist do not bother if they believe they can fly and start jumping down from the empire state building.
Anyway, what is the question?

What makes you think we don't enjoy life?
Why would you think prayer is senseless?
There are three billion Christians in the world. Billions more through history. Doctors, Saints, Scientists, Philosophers, Mathematicians, Presidents, Philanthropists...
Are they all idiots?
Maybe the reason you 'can't crack through' is because you're arguing ideas and we're experiencing God. It's like asking us to not believe in our parents.
Give God a chance.
God is Amazing.
God will change you for the better.
God will make you come alive.

Well Christians, if you are wrong then you just wasted one precious life mummbling senseless prayers every god damned day while I was enjoying one and only life.
what if you are wrong ?
How can you *guarantee* christians are wrong, do you have a scientific proof god does not exist ? I thought so...
also why not address your *question* (typical atheist rant) to Jews and Moslems ???

I don't try to convert, it just feels good to be able to let off some steam from time to time. These Christians are everywhere here in the USA! I'm surrounded by them!

the end sentence should have been left out it it was good reasonable speech until then. To add on athiests dont' like it when they try to get converted too. they get their backs up just like christians do. up until the part "christians are no harm...." swap the christians for athiest and it goes the same.
