crap?I'm not saying this is true,but why are they saometimes with a family member(brother etc....)and watched when they are in a public place?

They are not treated like crap. Why don't you go and talk to Iranian women yourself. Yes, there are some restrictions on the clothes in public but that's pretty much all about it. The first two posters are just crapping and love to stereotype. They don't know one **** abt their culture.

It is maybe normal in Iranian culture.Crapping is maybe only a joke. Joke is allowed if it do not humiliate someone.or they do not tell the bad doing of the member of their family...

no dear it happens in many other cultures as well..not just Iranian...it also depends on how strict the family is and what type of people..so not all peopel in one culture may do that..but its definatly not just in Iranian culture...trust me.. : )
