The book of Malachai says, "I, God, DO NOT CHANGE." Why are Christians speaking as though the old testament is just there so the Bible doesn't look as thin as a magazine? Sweetheart, the answer to your question is YES. He Hated it then, He hates it now, and always will. But not without reason. Have you ever given someone something only to see them misuse and destroy it with no regard to the trouble you went through to give it to them or the value of the gift? And all of you self-righteous, scripture quoting, hypocrites should just answer the question w/o making sure your halo is on tight first. You all make me sick. "THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, NO GOOD. NO. NOT ONE." "ALL OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS IS AS FILTHY RAGS..." Remember those words? Dont pick on or talk down your holy nose at her.

Each of us have the breath of life within us. This is the holy spirit and is what gives us life. It's the part that tells us if a thing is wrong or not. No one can tell you what that spirit speaks to you about anything. Even if we try you would not agree. You have to look within yourself to decide if this is wrong or right. Anyone that says otherwise is egotistical and knows neither God nor truth. Some may judge you for your conclusions but the wise know better. Still we await the inspiration for you from you, not condemnation from strangers. May any choice you make bring you ever closer to the divine love you and those you love deserve.

Whatever the hateful people who have answered here tell you the Bible says, being gay is NOT a sin; and if what Jesus would think bothers you, then remember that it is one of the few aspects of human life that he never even mentioned.
So much vile hatred from people who claim to follow the teachings of a man who preached love and tolerance
PAUL says a lot of things in his Letters ... but he hated a lot of people ... Jesus said NOTHING about being gay being a sin.
[I answered your other question also ... a little more fully]

I'm so sorry that you're struggling with this. I know how you feel. I started to have bisexual feelings when I was about thirteen, though they might have been there earlier. I didn't act on it until I was eighteen, though.
Why am I telling you this? So you'll know that I do know where you're coming from.
No, Jesus never specifically mentioned homosexuality. But there are a lot of things Jesus never mentioned specifically: Child molestation, spousal abuse, rape, war...
Jesus DID, however, mention sexual immorality, which homosexuality falls under.
If you don't want to be bi, the best suggestion I can make to you is ask God to help you stand up under the temptation. It's promised to us that when we are tempted, God can and will help us (1 Corinthians 10:13).
God helped me. I'm still bisexual, but I can stand the temptation.

No, the new testament doesn't mention gays or lesbians or bisexuals at all..In Romans it talks about people having ritual same-sex in Pagan temple rites and specifically condemns this but of course this has little to do with homosexuality or bisexuality. It had everything to do with ancient sacred Pagan religious practices of uniting physically with the deity of the temple through having sex with the temple prostitutes both male and female...it was considered nothing out of the usual by the majority then.

Christ never condemned homosexuality or bisexuality. In fact, He never mentioned either. If they are such horrible sins that entire organizations have sprung up to fight them, why would Christ never mention them?
On and the answerer who listed Romans 1 forget to mention that Jesus did not write Romans 1, Paul did. Moreover, Romans 1 deals with the results of idolatry. ("...and changed the glory of the incorruptible God for the likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things." Romans 1:23) As a gay man, I never worshiped images of birds, four-footed beasts or creeping things, so Romans 1 has nothing to do with me or most other gay people.

Never in the bible, anywhere, did Jesus himself utter a single word about homosexuality. That being said, just be who you are. The fact that you don't want to be bi should just go to show you that it isn't as much as a choice as some people would have you think. I consider myself an agnostic, but I'd like to think that if there is indeed a god, it would want us to be happy and be exactly the way it made us...frankly, the idea that it might care what I do in the privacy of my own bedroom kinda freaks me out.

Jesus doesn't, because everyone knew it was a bad thing. But Paul (talking to Greeks) does talk about it. Look at Romans.
You may need counseling. Homosexuality is wrong and is unnatural. But you can be healed from it. Ask God to help you. He will.
He loves you.
