Yeah...I speak to God in English, but sometimes words fail to describe what I mean. So instead, I communicate to God by picturing what I mean. That's generally a lot easier.
I don't agree with the whole "speaking in tongues" thing. In the Bible it says that if no one can interpret what the person is saying, then they're speaking in gibberish.

For the most part, people mistake the voice of their own fears and desires for the voice of God. Also, one ought to consider that a Supreme Being would be well aware of the processes necessary for learning and actual growth, such that it would not volunteer information that cannot be told but must be experienced and/or worked for, making silence the correct response almost all of the time. A Supreme Being would not be chatty. Or neurotically horrified by different aspects of its creation, like a human being might be. It would not issue commands to slaughter villages, regulations about the proper treatment of slaves, or fashion. It would not care for worship or care what people believe about the imperceptible. It wouldn't tell anyone they must vote for Trump or that it was offended by the fact that sinners retained their civil rights. So if there is a God, we can be pretty sure these people are talking to its opposite.

Yes, but it is your spirit that prays the perfect prayer to God, not even you know what you are praying but the Holy spirit does. If you were baptized with the holy spirit, then you would understand what I am talking about but at this point, to you it looks like someone who speaks in unknown toungue seems nuts to you.
