Are there good clinics or hospitals in Tiajunna? Is it worth to travel to India or Canada for surgeries and health care? It seems impossible here and so outrageously expensive-we just neglect most of the care we need. Anyone had any success with treatments outside the US or advice that you can share?

Some of the best Medical schools of the world are in Mexico... specifically Guadalajara. Don't go to Tijuana, it's a border town with lots of people willing to swindle others out of money. There are plenty of reputable hospitals both public and private in Mexico, it's just a matter of doing good research on them.

I feel for you. Treatment in Japan is pretty good, but you have to get national health insurance, and kick down so much per month. But the prices are reasonable. The airfare is not.

EDIT: There are a lot of things you can do to take care of your health, though, that doesn't require a doctor. Vitamins, eating a sensible, balanced diet, getting 20 minutes of movement in every day (at least), and avoiding dangerous situations. It really depends on what you want treated.
