If all in the body would do what God has called them to do, then some would be the fishers and some would be the cleaners. Yes we can do both to a degree but there are particular callings such as evangelists who will go to certain locations and minister, get lots of folks saved and then move on. Sure they can follow up with them but the local churches should be working with the evangelist and gather the new believers and raise them up in Christ. Unfortunately, there is often competition and division between ministries and the new born babe falls between the cracks...shame on us!

we at the instant are not Christ's disciples, and that fee of proclaiming the be conscious is a these days finished prophecy (as pronounced in Jeremiah 31:34). Jesus pronounced on the tip of HIS ministry that we at the instant are not any greater His servants, yet particularly His friends (John 15:14-15). So attempt to not think of which you have an criminal accountability to transform everyone. Albeit i will totally comprehend which you quite want your friends to have a relationship with God as you have. this is purely organic. difficulty approximately residing your man or woman existence, Jesus gave a ideal analogy approximately nerve-racking approximately your man or woman issues instead of pointing out others (Matthew 7:3). And we could constantly stay by making use of occasion, human beings could seem at you for an occasion of religion (matthew 7:20). Be your self along with your buddy, do not attempt do what Jesus did. Take Abrahams tale to coronary heart. He gave up his infant to God understanding that God might act righteously and mercifully thoroughly blind to how that ought to play out. Likewise you may act. Be your self, no person else. and supply your buddy to God by making use of prayer (hebrews 13:15-sixteen). I rather have got here across the best thank you to win situations like that's to be uniquely ourselves, yet one with God via Christ. It finally ends up being a non secular disaster while we start up off pretending to be Jesus ourselves.

"The great commission"

we can also use this verse

Then Jesus came to them and said,
"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of age." --Matthew 28:18-20

It is only the Holy Spirit who could work in them. We can provide opportunities and venues for this to happen.

God bless.

The thing Jesus did for His followers is lift them out of their 'daily grind' and give them a vision of God's destiny for them, and then empowered them with the tools to achieve that destiny. Re-read Matt 5 this summer. It was like I'd never read it before. Amazing. Leadership of any kind cannot simply guide or admonish, it must inspire. The thing Jesus did was infect His followers with His vision. Once that had happened, they wanted it for themselves.

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. 7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
Eph 4:4-7 (KJV)
some to preach, some to teach, some to bless, some to exhort, some to call to righteousness, some to condemn.

The way you put it. Fishers of course. Only Jesus can sort them out and clean them. All we can do, is simply try to bring them to him.

Jesus called the apostles ("ones sent") to be fishers of men. Not all are apostles.
