My symptoms:

Headache- mainly in my temples

Very hot/sweaty even though everyone around me is cold. I made my husband turn off the heat and turn on the air conditioner because I'm so hot and sweaty.

Nausea- today I was at work helping a customer (I'm a bank teller) and literally had to run to the bathroom to throw up- it hit me instantly.

Diarrhea and runny stools for the past few days.

Tired/ exhausted/ lethargic

I'm 25 years old and doubt that I'm pregnant. I did miss a few b.c pills and we used the pull out method but that was a week ago and I wouldn't have symptoms this early anyway. Does this sound like the flu? 24 hour bug? Something else? I don;t want to go to the doc if its nothing.

If you go to www.webmd.com you can enter in the flu and read the symptoms or even put in your individual symptoms. Don't be afraid of going to the dr., they're there to keep you healthy, so if webmd doesn't help i would call your dr. and explain it to him/her and get a medical opinion. Hope you feel better!!!

It does sound like the flu and more than a 24 hour bug. Stop using the air conditioner NOW, it will make you worse. Take aspirin or Tylonel - you more than likely have a fever (it will help your head too). Stay home from work and stay lying down. Try some of that "Thera-Flu" for your symptoms and let it run its course. Do not go longer than 4 days though without seeing your doctor; it may be something you will end up needing antibiotics for. It could also be a mild case of food poisoning.

I hope you get well soon.
