Allah is not God; not in the sense of the Christian God.
His name is Yawheh, Jehovah, Counselor, Evelrasting Father, Creator, El-Shaddai, El-ohim, Holy Spirit, JESUS.
Not once in the Holy Word of God, the Bible, which by the way was originally written mostly in Hebrew, is the name 'Allah' included as a name of God.

Allah is the one and only God.The name Allah is a name that came in the Arabic language through the Revelation of the Holy Qur'an to Muhammad(may peace be upon him). The name Allah cannot be attached to any person, thing, shape or form.unlike the English Word God if supposedly i were to add an S "Gods" at the end it would in-turn mean in the plural sense, similarly if i were to add "ess"(Goddess) it would imply a female God and any form of blasphemy cannot be attributed to Allah.

Arabic speakers of all faiths (Christians and Jews) use the word Allah to mean God,The Muslim and christian Arabs today have no other word for God then Allah.

May Allah guide those have doubt about shortness of this life and most certainly the promise of Allah (the most gracious, the most merciful) is true.

Allah is the Arabic word for God. It is used by Arabic speakers of all religions, including Muslims, Christians and Jews.

So, what you ask is really "is God God", to which logically I have to answer yes, although I don't believe in him. I'm sure the Arabic Christians would feel a little strange if you demand they should use the English word "God" when they speak Arabic.

Allah is an Arabic word (obviously). It has no literal translation into any language. Its a proper name like Chris or John. There is only One God. So to answer directly, yes. And to the beer swilling, nascar watching, inbred, ignorant retards out there that hate what they know NOTHING about....
The God that flooded the entire planet and killed every man woman and child, was that the muslim God? The God that sends people to a nonstop, NEVERending chamber of horrors and never feels sorry for them... is that the muslim God? NO thats the God you believe in but dont obey. Did you know the Qur'an says that hell is only meant for purification? In other words, Hell is that last chance to get it together before you're killed all together. Sounds like a more Compassionate and Forgiving God to me.
