Well I'm sorry to say u can't get off the sex offender category at all. If u do it'll be a long long time before u will. But I highly doubt it. U should have known before u committed this act that u were gonna get caught and be known around the world if u move that ur a sex predator and neighbors can be aware of ur ware abouts. If u didn't want to be on it than u shouldn't have done it. Kids are precious and ur sick. Kids don't know any better and u just had to influence the kid or kids. I don't feel sorry for u but I do feel sorry for the children for havin to go thru what they have.

Remember, people not on the registry know, collectively, what may in 5 years finally add up to NOTHING. They are spoon fed by grandstanding politicians and media.
You CAN have your photo removed. DCI, the place you register will help. AND if you are low risk for re-offense... After 10 years hire a lawyer and get your entire registry entry taken down.
Only the really dangerous people should be available for the public to gossip about.
Good luck... remember more names on the list grant more votes to those continuing to make money off prisons and rehabilitation. So many innocent people jailed. Google "for profit prisons". It's an uphill battle, but if you REALLY are not a threat, do all you can for yourself. Chin up... There are more intelligent people out there hiding from the masses of idiots.. look harder for the ones not profiting from others misery.

You can not have your name removed from the sex offender registry ,It is there so parents can avoid sick people like you so you don't harm any more children that you already have, and there is no such thing as minor child abuse when it comes to a child.

you don't. the court chooses when you've been 'rehabilitated'... society only knows about your sick wrongdoings by looking up sex offenders in your area. (aren't you sick people still required to go door to door??)
either way, you've got more problems than this yahoo thing can cure. i hope you have a psychotherapist/psychiratrist you see regularly...because you need it.
just for the record, you can't take a photo off the sex offenders list because it's up to the courts of the county that it happened in and/or the county that you currently live in to provide that information to the public. even if it wasn't on the registry that you so don't want it on, it would still be (and is) public record.

The only way to even find out if it's possible is to call the courthouse or police station, or whoever you dealt with when you were convicted and ask them.
BTW, they are allowed to put your picture on the net... you were proved to be a sick freak, so you deserve to have it there.... no matter how many years ago it was.

And if you were wrongly accused, I'm sorry.

you don't nor should you after being CONVICTED for something like that! the rest of the population has a right to know if you are living near them. you can always write to the state police and see if they would kindly remove it for you- ha ha ha, 3 years long enough for you? the effects of child abuse on the victims are sometimes life long .

Depending on your actual case your face should ALWAYS! be on there. Matter of fact it should be on every bulletin board around WORLD!!!

BUT if you are like my homeboy who got charged for sleeping with this fast *** 16 year old and he was 19 then I think it should get off and I'm sorry that I don't know a way to help you out.

That's probably not going to happen and there's no such thing as minor when it comes to child abuse. I hope you don't live around my kids.

To do it, you need to talk to a judge or a lawyer about expunging your records.

When you can convince the world that after 3 years you're still not a sick fuc# who likes to take advantage of children for your own pleasure, THEN they'll take your picture down.

Why don't you volunteer to have you dic# and b@lls chopped off? Then they'll let you take your picture down.

Creep...

You can't. Besides, people in your community have a right to know these things because the awareness helps to ensure the safety of their children.
