I would still work my business because I don't just work for a living, I work to learn and to help others. In my work, there is so many ways that I can help people that I don't have to look very far.
I guess a lot of the answers here will depend on how people feel about what they do. I love mine so much that I can't imagine ever quitting LOL. When I travel, I can still work and enjoy meeting all the new people.
One thing that is on my wish list for the future is to build some better shelters for the homeless and implement opportunities for them to improve their lives, rather than simply offer them a cot and a meal. These are the people who feel trapped in their situations and I would like to help in educating them on ways to take control of their life and regain hope. They are not less than us, simply less motivated to believe in their dreams. I would love to be a part of changing that in some way.

Not having a job doesn't mean there is no opportunity to work or earn. There are lots of jobs that can be done from home like e-coaching, e-counselling, e-teaching or e-marketing.
If you feel you are good at writing, you could work as a freelancer journalist or feature writer. In fact freelancing can fetch you several opportunity including bookkeeping, accounting, counselling, enumerating, surveying and several others. Provided you have the ability and a helpful friends around stitching, needle work, craft work and several other skilled jobs will reach you.
With little bit of determination, positivity and creativity your jobless time can be made productive and fulfilling. The best is you don't get confined to any in-box thinking or protocols. With a little of luck, it can fetch you just as much as you would earn by getting employed if not more.
Try it; I have tried it and found immense gratification.

Just... live.
Any dreams ever bestown upon my head,
I'de never slow nor seise the plight to chase them.
Any horrible times that I've ever dread,
I'de just pick my soul up and be quick to erase them.
It would be a surley right time to supremley live,
and a most perfect time to forget and let die,
any hiatus of bliss however massive,
would surley be dead, cause' gone would the time to cry.
I have much pain and suffering in my life right now... but this question gave me the inspiration I needed to jump into this world I created in my mind. Thanx, and how does it feel to know that u helped a poor shmuck get through his day?? Have a gr8 life.... I wish u all the best.

FREE MONEY?!?!! NO PROBLEM! haha -- If I had unlimited amounts of money, I'd definitely give some of it to people around me and to those who really need it. Then I'd shop, travel, and of course party it out! Life may be easier,,,this might sound cliche, but money really can't buy you happiness. And after a while I would get lazy, and I'd have no goals to work for to achieve.
Good question. It made me think :)
So, what would you do?...

depending on what my income really look like I would help out the unfortunate in Africa by volunteer work and donations. Travel and go as far as the education system will let me go.

There would be a few things that I would do: for one take in the abused kids and give them a home, start a home for the alcoholics and they would have to go to the meetings.
