Your right, as long as there are terrorists and communists in this world, and radical Muslims wanting to take over every nation and impose Islamic Law there will never be peace. As long as there are crazy Christians ( I am a Christian) who bomb abortion clinics and yell at or make websites about gays burning in hell there will be no peace. Not until we are all dead or until the Lord returns. It's sad but true.

You have a narrrow understanding of peace and of how the world works.
Peace is more than just the absence of warfare. Imagine a world where there's no warfare, but people live spiritually shallow lives, the wealth is concentrated in the hands of a few. That's not yet true peace. (Note that to live a spiritually deep life requires more than faith in Christ or whatever).
Unfortunately the capitalists want that very scenario. They dont want us to grow spiritually, they want us to stay dumb and consumerist so that we'll buy their products. They want to preserve their wealth.
The communists sought to bring peace by eliminating capitalism. However orthodox communism had flaws: 1)the authoritarian govt can abuse the people 2)the problem of spiritual growth is not really addressed 3)the govt becomes obsessed with power at the expense of the people, just like the capitalist.
I think, to achieve world peace we need a system where spiritual growth is addressed, wealth is evenly distributed and (unlike communism) power is also evenly distributed.

No, sad to say it will never be possible.

Real PEACE is not to lay down your weapons, but real PEACE will come when you have the Prince of Peace dwell in your heart.

Beware a counterfeit peace
A coming time of counterfeit world peace will seem so real just before a great time of trouble begins in deadly earnest. Jeremiah foresaw and was inspired to write of it: "They [the false prophets] have also healed the hurt of My people slightly [superficially], saying, 'Peace, peace!' when there is no peace" (Jeremiah 6:14). As the time of the end draws near, the world will be told that there is nothing really to worry about, that all will be well.

All will be well, but only after the second coming of Christ, who will establish and administer the Kingdom of God—the only hope of lasting peace. However, in this age of man ("this present evil age," Galatians 1:4), Christ warns us not to judge according to appearance. We have to look more deeply with the spiritual insights available through God's Word. We have to see beyond the superficial and often deceptive surface of current events.

Many people do not understand the principle of cause and effect. They live exclusively in the present, taking little notice of history and giving little thought to the future. Solomon said, "Because the sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil" (Ecclesiastes 8:11). It's easy to be fooled into thinking that the day of reckoning will never come.

That is one reason we publish The Good News. We earnestly desire to alert our readers to the perilous times that lie ahead, the consequence of the wholesale breaking of God's spiritual law—a wonderful law that would govern mankind for its benefit and make life really work.

As was the apostle Paul, we hope our readers will be among those who do take heed, and we therefore repeat his encouraging words of yesteryear, fully applicable today:

"But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day [the time of great trouble culminating in Jesus Christ's return] should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day ... Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober" (1 Thessalonians 5:4-6). GN

Yes, and it's prophesied. But it's going to get worse first. When Jesus comes back, things will be rather violent, and then after that the world will go through a 1000 year period when He reigns.

It's in a song too. It's just that people either don't pay attention to it, or they think it's a Christmas song. And it isn't. It's a prophetic song about when Jesus comes to rule:

Joy to the World.
Joy to the world, the Lord is come!
Let earth receive her King;
Let every heart prepare Him room,
And Heaven and nature sing,
And Heaven and nature sing,
And Heaven, and Heaven, and nature sing.

Joy to the earth, the Savior reigns!
Let men their songs employ;
While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat, repeat, the sounding joy.

No more let sins and sorrows grow,
Nor thorns infest the ground;
He comes to make His blessings flow
Far as the curse is found,
Far as the curse is found,
Far as, far as, the curse is found.

He rules the world with truth and grace,
And makes the nations prove
The glories of His righteousness,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders, wonders, of His love.

No there will never be world peace. I am sorry to bring this out so harsh, but you must understand that life is not some fairy land where everyone will get along! There will always be great enemies against each other... whether it's your next door neighbor or another country there will never be world peace! I wish that we could change this matter!
