Where an object can go will vary depending on what the object is. To copy highight what you want to copy by click and holding then draging your mouse the diagnol of a square that would select all that you want selected. Then press both the ctrl key and c key at the same time. This will copy the item. Next find an area where you can paste it (usually text boxes) and press ctrl and v at the same time. To cut you would use ctrl and x at the same time.
