Believe in it? No. Forced to practice it to keep food, heat, electricity, clothing and shelter? Yep.

Some days it seems like I financially sow more than I am reaping...

Why only finance?It holds good for all human activities.In this case,there is more to be done between sowing and reaping like managing the investments and taking full advantage of the opportunities and more(akin to manuring and watering etc).(A good question,thanks)

"As you sow, so shall ye reap" I have always sown but have rarely reaped. Unfortunately one thing has nothing to do with the other.

In Malachi 3:8-12.
God says to try Him and see If He won't open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing In which you won't have room to contain.
