hdmi or dvi??

Question

i have heard from sum people that hdmi is better than dvi and from others that dvi is better than hdmi. Which one is truly superior??

Ignoring DVI-analog, HDMI and DVI-digital are both digital interfaces
HDMI is a superset of DVI
HDMI can also carry audio
For standard video (SD or HD), there should be no difference; however, hdmi 1.3 has now capabilities that DVI does not (support for deep color and xvYCC color to name a few).
